Last Sunday 7th

Anona opened up the afternoon along with others with good news stories of answered prayers and opportunities. News of our move is in the Elmbridge and Surrey Hills glossy magazines. Dave Erasmus supported by Oli Hall and Jenny Greenland led us in worship and Dave Banko spoke briefly on prayer and with printouts of some of the prayers of the Apostle Paul then encouraged us in an extended time of prayer.

Uganda £

This coming Sunday 14th will be the last opportunity to look through new/good as new books, CDs and DVDs. Refreshments from 3.15pm. Donations will go toward the Ugandan trip later this year. Thanks for the £30 donated thus far.

Soaked in PRAYER

Engage Men's Breakfast 27th February 9.30am Blue Barn Farm

This is an opportunity to gather some friends together and fuel up for the weekend with breakfast, prayer and the word. Paul Williams is very generously hosting us and will also share for a short time some scripture that is close to his heart. All the men at Engage and their male friends are invited.

Bring your bible, a notepad and an empty stomach! You need to contact Steven Bond if you intend to be there. For more info about the venue and lift sharing: steveyjbond@gmail.com / 07821 589 111

If you are able to host another men's breakfast in the latter half of March or early April please get in touch.

Saturday 22nd/Sunday 23rd May - Challenging theology weekend with Tony Pullin. This will be a very exciting subject whether you've just become a Christian or have been one for decades. This weekend is for everyone in Engage and friends. Does God know everything? Does He know the future? Why pray? Does God really change His mind?

Uganda Half Marathon 23rd May - 13.1 miles, Canterbury - Surface: road, time 10.30 AM, fee £15. Runners will be doing so to raise funds for a primary school in North Uganda which Gerald and a team are visiting later in the year. You can run or any friends who you know enjoy running. They will be helping the 120 children in the school. To register telephone Helen Lock, Director GMI UK 07855 530 332. For further details of the Gulu Mission go to www.gmi-uk.org

Gerald will be setting the pace.

Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th June - Jeannine Rodrigas will be with us for the entire weekend doing Dream Interpretation, out on the streets for Prophetic Evangelism including interpreting dreams.

Why don't you come early?

Remember you can meet for drinks and nibbles from 3.15pm. We are unable to serve after 3.45pm as the hospitality team have to clear away before they can get into the meeting themselves. There is insufficient time at the close. Do use the time from 3.15pm to look through books, CDs, tapes and DVDs, take home what you want and leave a donation for the Uganda trip.

Tech Team

At the moment Vince Hudson and Simon Elgar bring the desk, speakers and other essentials to the URC building each week. The equipment is simple to setup and they are looking for a couple of men or women to join the team and share responsibilities. This is an ideal opportunity to renew or develop another skill!

Please contact Simon at selgar@pioneerengage.org.uk to get involved.
